Siempelkamp India Pvt. Ltd. will be presenting itself at Indiawood as a reliable partner for wood-based panel manufacturers. The team will be in Bangalore from February 26th to March 2nd and is pleased to present two recent milestones in customer projects with Elixrr Industries Pvt. Ltd. and M5 Green Pvt. Ltd.

Around 30 team members currently contribute their expertise to Siempelkamp India – five engineers recently joined the company. Founded in 2010, the team covers all core competencies for the planning and construction of a wood-based panel plant – from sales and project management to assembly, programming, commissioning, and service. Siempelkamp India Ltd. currently operates two branches: its headquarters are located in Kolkata, West Bengal, while a branch for software development and programming is situated in Pune, Maharashtra.

Siempelkamp India is proud of two existing projects with new clients, in which the company is currently demonstrating its expertise. The projects are either in the assembly phase or about to enter it.

The partnership with Elixrr Industries Pvt. Ltd. represents a significant step, based on mutual trust and close technical cooperation between the two companies. In 2025, the Mumbai-based Indian company ordered an MDF line featuring an 8′ x 33.8m ContiRoll Generation 9 press, including Contitherm Neo and AI-based Prod-IQ · SmartPress technology. This underscores Elixrr’s focus on high-performance and reliable production technology as it enters the MDF manufacturing sector. “The project is based on the state-of-the-art continuous press technology from Siempelkamp in Germany, which is considered the gold standard for wood-based panel plants worldwide,” said Raman Poddar, President of Elixrr Industries Pvt. Ltd. The plant, currently under construction near Gwalior (MP), India, will have a production capacity of 1,100 m³ of MDF panels per day upon completion.

M5 Green Pvt. Ltd. has aligned its strategy with entering MDF production, leveraging Siempelkamp’s world-class technology. This project further underscores the company’s confidence in Siempelkamp’s process expertise and technical solutions. The turnkey project includes a 4′ x 33.8m ContiRoll Generation 9 with Contitherm Neo and a Siempelkamp classifier, specifically tailored to M5 Green’s operational requirements for processing South Indian tropical timber. Assembly begins in May in Pala (Kerala), India. Upon completion, the plant will achieve a daily production capacity of 600 m³ of MDF panels.

“We are delighted to support both companies in their ambitious projects and are grateful for the trust they place in us as a partner. This trust extends to both our highly qualified, strong team in India and our entire company, which has been established in the wood-based materials industry for many decades,” said Samiron Mondal, CEO BU Capital, Siempelkamp GmbH & Co. KG.

Rananjoy Mitra, Director at Siempelkamp India Pvt Ltd, adds: “We enjoy a high level of trust and an excellent reputation in our sales region when it comes to the fast and high-quality implementation of projects. We also provide easy access to support and service. We are very pleased to be represented at this year’s Indiawood with these assets!” The team will focus its Indiawood presence on press concepts, service, and the special topic of Contitherm Neo.
