120 years of Altendorf: the F 45 as a limited anniversary edition

To mark its 120th anniversary, Altendorf is releasing its world-famous F 45 panel saw as a numbered special edition: 120 machines worldwide, each with a dedicated anniversary front design, offered in several action packages at special prices. Available from 17 August 2026.

120 years ago, Wilhelm Altendorf had a vision in Minden: saws should be more precise, safer and simpler. That idea became a worldwide standard – and the F 45 panel saw, known internationally simply as “The Altendorf”. For the anniversary, the company honours this history with a dedicated edition: the F 45 120 Anniversary Edition.

Since 1906. With the people in the trade.

The Altendorf story is more than technology. It is the story of workshops that have grown, of businesses passed down through generations, and of people who give their best every day. The anniversary campaign “120 years of Altendorf”, running under the theme “Precision that connects generations”, is dedicated to exactly these people.

A campaign to take part in

On a dedicated anniversary page at www.altendorf.com/en/lp/120, users are invited to share their personal Altendorf moment – with a photo, video or message – and become part of the anniversary story. Altendorf will draw an anniversary prize among all entries. The limited F 45 adds a concrete product offer to this participatory campaign.

The F 45 120 Anniversary Edition

The number 120 is central: only 120 machines are produced worldwide, each individually numbered. Its visual signature is a specially created design for the 120-year anniversary. The F 45 is offered in several action packages: the base machine in different special configurations at an anniversary special price each. Additional options and accessories are available at the regular price. On request, the F 45 is available with HAND GUARD, the first certified, AI-assisted safety system for panel saws.

Availability and ordering

The edition is part of a worldwide campaign and can be ordered from 17 August 2026. Orders are possible until 30 November 2026 – or until all 120 machines are sold. Enquiries run via the dedicated campaign page mentioned above.
